Job summary

Sonalika Tractors is seeking a role focused on strategic sourcing for alloy steel components like gears and shafts. The incumbent will drive supplier development, share RFQs and drawings, and ensure new designs meet feasibility and quality standards.

The candidate will coordinate prototyping, testing, and documentation, ensuring sign-off from stakeholders and accurate system updates for ongoing procurement activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Vendor Development - Identify & Develop Capable Suppliers, share RFQ & drawings.
• Develop new products as per design requirements and review supplier feasibility.
• Commodity focus: Gear & Shaft, Alloy Steel.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials: Alloy Steel, gears & shafts, through approved vendors.
• Conduct drawing review with design teams and assess supplier feasibility.
• Identify capable suppliers and circulate RFQs to at least three vendors.
• Obtain sign-off from stakeholders and update system records.
• Coordinate prototyping and validation testing for new designs.
• Document all purchase data and track daily orders.

• Commodity Buyer - Alloy Steel , Gear & shaft.
• Vendor Development
• Conduct Drawing Review with Design & Supplier Feasibility Studies.
• Identify Capable suppliers, Share RFQ & Quotation from 3 Suppliers.
• Do ECA Of Products & get sign off from all stake holders to update in system.
• Create Prototyping and conduct testing to validate product designs and functionality.
• Proper documentation of all purchase data and daily orders tracking system.
