Job summary

Tata AutoComp Systems Limited in Pune invites a seasoned professional for Vendor Development EV Powertrain & Supplier Quality. You will identify, evaluate and develop suppliers for EV powertrain components and coordinate APQP to PPAP and SOP. You will drive supplier quality improvements using 8D, RCA, CAPA and monitor PFMEA, MSA and SPC.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Production is required.
• Experience in EV powertrain supplier development and APQP/PPAP is essential.
• Hands-on exposure to stamping, injection molding and rubber molding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and develop suppliers for EV Powertrain and automotive components.
• Handle supplier development from RFQ, feasibility and APQP to PPAP and SOP.
• Develop and manage suppliers for Sheet Metal Stamping, Plastic Injection Molding and Rubber Molding components.
• Conduct supplier process audits, capacity assessments and quality reviews.
• Drive supplier quality improvement through 8D, RCA, CAPA, PPM reduction and rejection control.
• Review PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, process capability and PPAP documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Purchase and suppliers for new product development (NPD).
• Drive localization, alternate source development, VA/VE and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Monitor supplier performance for Quality, Cost, Delivery and Development (QCDD).
