Job summary

Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre India is looking for a Project Leader to drive CAE activities for vehicle development. You will lead digital simulations, set up modelling methods, and ensure they are developed and capitalized across programs.

You will oversee strength and durability CAE work, analyze vibrations, road loads, and suspension behavior, and coordinate with customers and stakeholders to meet performance targets within a structured PM framework.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of CAE experience.
• Strong CAE experience in Strength & Durability domain.
• Experience in making root cause analysis and proposing counter measures.
• Experience in project management including scheduling, risk analysis, mitigation and contingency planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the digital evaluation to achieve performance targets.
• Conduct periodic reviews and validate R/C mechanism and C/M directions.
• Report to stakeholders to gain agreement for C/M and targets.
• Adhere to project management compliance and governance.
• Confirm targets with customer performance team and optimize CAE targets.
• Analyze risk and establish contingency plans with triggers and ownership.

Job Purpose

• The Project leader is responsible to lead CAE activity for vehicle development programs including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Improve the understanding of physical phenomena and modelling parts and systems within his scope
• Ensure technological monitoring and carry out competitor analysis actions
• Define digital simulation methods and modelling and ensure their development
• Ensure capitalization of digital simulation methods

Responsibilities

• Responsible to lead the digital evaluation to achieve performances targets
• Conduct Periodic review and validate the R/C mechanism and C/M directions
• Responsible to report to stake holders to get agreement for C/M
• Adhere to Project management compliance
• Responsible to confirm the targets with customer performance team.
• Responsible to optimize & Cost & Mass CAE Targets.
• Analyze risk and initiate avoidance activities. Establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsibility for initiating

corrective action.

Experience

• Candidate with 7 to 12 years of experience

Relevant Experience

• Strong Experience in CAE analysis for Strength & Durability domain
• Exposure to Vibration Fatigue, Seam weld fatigue, Road load data acquisition, suspension kinematics, sub-system level strength cases
• Good knowledge of fundamental physics and structural engineering principles.
• Experience in making root cause analysis [Engineering analysis] & derive problem statements, propose counter measures or directions.
• Experience in project management [scheduling, executing, risk analysis, mitigation & contingency planning]
