Analyst, Sales Compensation (Level P1 – IND)
About the Role
The Analyst, Sales Compensation plays a critical role in supporting the company’s sales organization by ensuring accurate and timely compensation payouts. This position requires a strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset, a focus on data integrity, process improvement, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Compensation Administration – Calculate and review monthly, quarterly, and annual sales commissions and bonus payments in Excel and Power BI; also partner commissions.
- Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential plan adjustments.
- Conduct thorough plan audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Distribute, track and report on the status of the compensation plan letter acceptance to ensure compliance and timeliness.
- Perform audits to ensure data integrity between SFDC, CAMTRADE and Power BI systems.
- Develop and maintain clear and concise sales compensation documentation.
- Collaborate with Sales and Payroll teams to process new hires, terminations, promotions and transfers in accordance with organizational policy.
- Data Analysis & Reporting – Gather, analyze, and interpret large volumes of sales data from CRM, Power BI, etc.; prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports; develop and maintain dashboards.
- Conduct in‑depth analysis of sales performance trends to identify areas of opportunity and risk.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to sales team inquiries about compensation plans and payouts.
- Conduct training sessions for sales teams on compensation plan details and processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sales leaders and compensation analysts.
- Project Management – Participate in cross‑functional projects related to sales compensation, including system implementations, process improvement initiatives, and new acquisitions; manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion.
