Job summary

CIRCOR Flow Technologies India Private Limited in Coimbatore is seeking an experienced technician for valve assembly and field service support. The role involves assembling valves and actuators, following engineering drawings and manufacturer specifications, and performing repairs or replacements as needed.

The candidate will conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic tests, calibrate instrumentation, and maintain detailed service records.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience assembling and servicing valves and related components.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow manufacturer specifications.
• Good computer literacy for service reporting and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble control valves, actuators, and accessories as per drawings.
• Inspect components for wear or damage and perform repairs or replacements.
• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic tests to verify valve integrity.
• Calibrate valve positioners and instrumentation (e.g., DVC, I/P converters).
• Maintain service records including test results and reports.
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards during servicing.
• Support field service operations including on-site troubleshooting and repairs.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations for timely service delivery.
• Work on day and night shifts.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and disassemble control valves, actuators, on/off Valve & accessories according to engineering drawings and manufacturer specifications.
• Inspect valve components for wear, damage, or defects and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing to verify valve integrity.
• Calibrate and configure valve positioners and instrumentation (e.g., DVC, I/P converters).
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and test results.
• Follow safety protocols and quality standards during all phases of valve handling and servicing.
• Support field service operations including on-site troubleshooting and emergency repairs.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to do work both day and night shift.

Qualification

• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Valve assembly
• Preferred: ITI & Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
