Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a valuation professional to join our growth-focused practice in Mumbai.

You will contribute to financial reporting and tax valuations, develop and review complex valuation models, and guide junior team members in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials.
• A professional designation CA/CPA/MBA/CFA.
• 3–5 years of relevant valuations work experience.
• Strong MS Excel skills; advanced valuation capabilities.
• In-depth understanding of valuation principles.
• Experience with purchase price allocation and impairment testing of goodwill and intangibles.

Responsabilités

• Be part of our business valuation practice and work on a range of valuation engagements including valuations for financial reporting, tax reporting and compliance, IP and intangible asset valuations.
• Develop and review valuation models of varying complexities for entities of different sizes.
• Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and recommending solutions.
• Prioritize objectives and contribute to project execution and status reporting.
• Provide guidance to, supervise and review the work of junior team members.
• Directly liaise with and develop relationships with client and engagement team members.

Role

The main objective of the role is to contribute to our business growth by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key business decision-makers, providing guidance/expertise/training on various valuation engagements and lead the team towards excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Be part of our business valuation practice and work on a range of valuation engagements including valuations for financial reporting, tax reporting and compliance, intellectual property and intangible asset valuations.
• Develop and review valuation models of varying complexities for entities of different sizes operating across a diverse range of industries
• Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and recommending solution
• Prioritize your objectives and contribute to project execution and status reporting
• Provide guidance to, supervise and review the work of junior team members
• Directly liaise with and develop relationships with client and engagement team members

Competencies and Experience

• Completed undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials
• A professional designation including CA/CPA/MBA/CFA
• 3 to 5 years of relevant valuations work experience
• Sound grasp of MS Excel; a natural interest in working and learning to use it to an advanced level
• In-depth understanding of valuation principles
• Experience with purchase price allocation and impairment testing of goodwill and intangibles as per various accounting standards
• Advanced knowledge of using various research databases like CapitaliQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, Thomson etc.
• Excellent analytical, project management and teamwork competencies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven business development and marketing techniques, and ability to pursue and close business growth opportunities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
