Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. invites a valuation professional to contribute to growth by leading engagements in financial reporting, tax reporting, IP and intangible asset valuations.

You will develop and review valuation models and guide a team to deliver high-quality insights for diverse clients. The role requires 3–5 years of valuations experience, strong Excel modeling skills, and a focus on client service.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with outstanding academic credentials.
• Professional designation such as CA/CPA/MBA/CFA.
• 3–5 years of relevant valuations work experience.
• Strong MS Excel skills with advanced modeling.
• In-depth understanding of valuation principles.
• Experience with PPA and impairment testing of goodwill and intangibles.
• Familiarity with research databases like CapitaliQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, Thomson Reuters.
• Excellent analytical, project management and teamwork competencies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven business development and ability to pursue growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Be part of our business valuation practice and work on a range of valuation engagements including valuations for financial reporting, tax reporting and compliance, intellectual property and intangible asset valuations.
• Develop and review valuation models of varying complexities for entities of different sizes operating across a diverse range of industries
• Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and recommending solution
• Prioritize your objectives and contribute to project execution and status reporting
• Provide guidance to, supervise and review the work of junior team members
• Directly liaise with and develop relationships with client and engagement team members

• Sound grasp of MS Excel; a natural interest in working and learning to use it to an advanced level
• In-depth understanding of valuation principles
• Experience with purchase price allocation and impairment testing of goodwill and intangibles as per various accounting standards
• Advanced knowledge of using various research databases like CapitaliQ, Bloomberg, Factiva, Thomson etc.
• Excellent analytical, project management and teamwork competencies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven business development and marketing techniques, and ability to pursue and close business growth opportunities
