Job summary

Marquardt is seeking a test engineer to review customer requirements and prepare and execute DV/PV tests for environmental, mechanical, electrical and EMC norms. You will coordinate with equipment teams for fixtures, monitor CAN/LIN protocols and log data from test runs, ensuring timely and accurate test reports.

You will work with various test rigs such as climatic chambers, vibration systems, and salt spray units, contributing to robust product verification.

Responsibilities

• Perform DV/PV tests as per test orders in agile PLM.
• Prepare test reports with supporting raw data.

Role & responsibilities

• Review test plan as per customer requirement which includes test requirement for environmental, mechanical, electrical & EMC ISO test norms.
• Prepare test specifications based on test plan, this is like creating work instruction for each test before start of DV testing.
• Prepare for DV test well in advance, this topic includes activities such as coordination with equipment team for monitoring CAPL & test fixtures.
• In depth understanding of product before start of DV tests
• Verification of fixtures produced by equipment team to avoid any delay during DV tests.
• Prepare plan for DV test based on available resource in terms of test equipment.
• Perform DV/PV test as per test orders in agile plm.
• Test report preparation for all tests with supporting raw data generated during test.
• Cooperation & coordination with CFT for failures and its RCA.
• Calibration certificate review for all test equipment in test lab for all latest calibrated test equipment to check for any non conformity.
• Managing 5s & Misc test lab related tasks.

Preferred candidate profile

• Relevant experience in handling test equipment like climatic chamber, pneumatic systems, motor drive units, IP Water/ Dust chamber, Vibration, Salt spray and basic lab instruments
• DUT parameter monitoring with help of data loggers to log analog & digital signals.
• Awareness of HMI & EAS products
• Strong knowledge on product level testing and strong interpretation skills for DV tests
• Test norms in detail knowledge eg. ISO 16750-1/2/3/4/5, ISO 7637-2/3, ISO 11452, LV124, LV148 etc.
• Understanding of CAN & LIN protocols.
• Understanding of Vector VT cards & CANoe.
