Job summary

Angel and Genie is seeking a skilled validation engineer to handle design validation at the PCBA level, component and full system validation, and approvals. You will support the NPI, aftermarket, and T&V teams, focusing on standards, test instructions, and verification plans.

The role requires hands-on PCB testing experience, power electronics knowledge, and the ability to develop test cases aligned with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor degree with 04-07 years in EEE/EI/ECE.
• Should have minimum 1+ years of experience in testing of electrical products.
• Good background knowledge in Power electronics: converters/inverters and Magnetics etc.
• Hands-on experience in PCB Testing.
• Strong soft skills: Test report making and validation.
• Test methods: Hands-on experience in developing understanding customer needs and developing verification plan/test cases.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirement and convert it to test case and methods.
• Carry out pre certification and certification test and reduce repetition, false test.
• Understand the standards that are to be applied for the different products and interpret them in a right way.
• Contribute to knowledge during the development phase with knowledge and information.
• Withhold laboratory safety and comply to the rules of the laboratory.
• Make sure the laboratory is fit for fight for the development and certification teams.

Job description

He/She will be working on the design validation on PCBA board level, component validation and full system validation, approval.

He/she will be part of T&V team work on component selection, validation and finding alternate parts for welding/cutting machines.

He/She work in the NPI Project & product care teams, After market team to address the customer issues/design improvement and aftermarket retrofit design additions.

He/she will be part of the T&V team working on global standards (IEC/EN, CSA, CCC) and develop test instructions and cases

He/She will be part of project team in developing verification plans, test methods and track all testing activities

He/She will be responsible in maintaining the database of hardware’s/physical machines in the lab for testing purpose

He/She will be working with Lab team to maintain the Lab accreditation (Good to have)
