Job summary

Ficosa India in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced automotive tester to lead validation activities for ADAS and related domains.

You will perform testing across requirement, integration, system, and regression phases, working with CANoe, vTESTstudio, and DIVA tools. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, and exposure to CI/CD and ALM tools, are expected.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years' experience in Automotive Testing, Verification & Validation.
• Hands-on experience in ADAS testing, Gearshift Systems, or similar automotive product domains.
• Strong programming and test automation skills using Python, CAPL or similar languages.
• Familiarity with CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, UDS, XCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead automotive testing, verification, and validation activities.
• Perform ADAS testing and validate Gearshift systems.
• Develop and execute test scripts in Python/CAPL.
• Utilize Vector CANoe, vTESTstudio, and DIVA for testing.
• Analyze CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, UDS, XCP protocols.
• CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• 6-10 years of experience in Automotive Testing, Verification & Validation.
• Hands-on experience in ADAS testing, Gearshift Systems, or similar automotive product domains.
• Strong programming and test automation skills using Python, CAPL or Similar scripting/programming languages
• Experience with Vector toolchain CANoe, vTESTstudio, Diva and other Vector testing and simulation tools
• Good understanding and hands‑on experience in automotive communication protocols like CAN, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, UDS, XCP
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Experience in requirement-based testing, integration testing, system testing, and regression testing.

• Knowledge of SOME/IP, DoIP (Diagnostics over IP)
• Experience with VT System, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing environments
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins
• Experience using project and configuration management tools like DOORS, Jira, Git, SVN
• Familiarity with ASPICE, Agile methodologies, V-Model development process
• Understanding of ISO 26262 Functional Safety concepts.

ISTQB Certification will be an added advantage
