Job summary

Quest Global in Bengaluru seeks a controls testing and validation specialist to join our engineering team. You will perform software testing of locomotive subsystems using HITL, and work with simulators and LabVIEW models to validate performance.

You will analyze validation data, identify defects, and conduct root cause analysis while designing test cases and methodologies. Prior experience with IBM Doors and ClearQuest is a plus, and a proactive approach to testing improvements is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in software testing of locomotive subsystems.

Job Description for Controls testing and Validation: -

• Software testing of Locomotive sub-systems using Hardware in Testing Loop (HITL).
• Working experience on Simulators using LAB VIEW Models & Virtual Simulators (Emulators).
• Validation Data Analysis, Defect Identification, Root Cause Analysis.
• Good Experience on Creating of Testcase design and Test Methodologies.
• Working experience on tools like IBM Doors, ClearQuest.
• Creative thinking about testing improvements to positively impact usability, function, and performance.
• Experience in multiple levels of SDLC.
• Good Understanding and knowledge on Locomotive Control system.
• Knowledge on Automation will be added advantage.
