Job summary

Tata Technologies in Pune district seeks a Test Engineer to define verification plans and execute subsystem verification and validation activities. You will develop both manual and automated test procedures using MATLAB, NI TestStand and LabVIEW, collaborating with DVPR stakeholders to ensure product reliability and performance.

The role emphasizes resolving system concerns, applying iDFMEA and ESW, and delivering timely test updates to leadership while integrating into a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Test Engineer in a relevant discipline with a proven track record of technical problem-solving and quality decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Define technical requirements and develop an optimized subsystem-based analytical and experimental verification plan in collaboration with DVPR stakeholders.
• Make decisions related to verification and validation that impact product performance, reliability, and durability.
• Investigate and resolve potential system concerns by understanding causal mechanisms, recommending actions, and documenting results.
• Apply and improve verification and validation processes, including: Technical requirements analysis, iDFMEA, ESW, DVPR optimization, test standards and problem-solving tools (e.g., Integrity).
• Develop manual test procedures (STP) based on SRS and MATLAB models.
• Develop automated test procedures (ATP) using NI TestStand and LabVIEW.
• Provide regular and timely updates to the Cummins Manager, including test script reviews and test result evaluations with the Team Lead.
• Collaborate effectively within a project team to ensure successful test execution.

Required Skills Competencies:

Technical Skills:
