Job summary

IIFL Finance Ltd invites applications for a Gold Appraiser at our branch network. You will attend to walk‑in customers, conduct gold valuations, ensure accurate purity checks, and securely handle gold packets after loan disbursal.

You will manage cash during disbursals and repayments, maintain branch registers, and support end‑to‑end loan transactions from valuation to closure. The advertised CTC is up to 3 Lacs for non‑metros and up to 4.2 Lacs for metros, with incentives.

Qualifications

• Gold valuation accuracy and purity checks.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to handle cash and branch cash registers.
• Maintain KYC and branch records as per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Attending to walk‑in customers, addressing queries about the gold loan process and schemes offered.
• Conducting gold valuations and identifying gold purity accurately.
• Packing and storing gold after loan disbursal and returning items after loan closure.
• Managing cash (system & physical) during loan disbursals, interest collection, and loan closures.
• Create new CUID in LOS during Disbursal, Part Release / Payments & Loan Closure.
• Maintain branch registers as per guidelines – Key / Cash / Packet Movements, Staff & Customer Visits etc.
• Ensuring proper collection and storage of customer KYC documents.
• Following up with customers for timely collection of interest and principal payments.

• Properly packing and storing gold andgold packets after loan disbursal. Returning gold ornaments to customers afterloan closure.
• Managing cash (system & physical)during loan disbursals, interest collection, and loan closures.

Additional Responsibilities

Insummary, the Gold appraiser is responsible for the end-to-end transactionprocess for gold loans - from valuation to disbursal to closure, along withcustomer service.

CTC Upto 3 Lacs ( for Non-Metro) / 4.20 Lacs ( for Metro )
