Job summary

IIFL Finance is seeking a Gold Appraiser at our India operations to handle walk-in customers, perform gold valuations, and manage cash during loan disbursals. The role includes accurate purity checks, secure packing, and timely loan closures.

Personnel will maintain KYC records, follow disbursal protocols, and ensure excellent customer service at every stage. Attractive pay packages reflect metro/non‑metro distinctions.

Qualifications

• Attending walk-in customers and addressing queries about the gold loan process.
• Identifying gold purity accurately for loan valuation.
• Ensuring proper packing and storage of gold and packets after loan disbursal.
• Managing cash during loan disbursals, interest collection, and closures.
• Maintaining branch registers and custody of KYC documents as per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Valuation and end-to-end processing of gold loan from appraisal to disbursal to closure.
• Provide good customer service at every step of pledging, disbursal, or payment collection.
• Follow up with customers for timely payment of interest and principal.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Attending to walk-in customers, addressingqueries about the gold loan process and schemes offered.
• Conducting gold valuations andidentifying gold purity accurately.
• Properly packing and storing gold andgold packets after loan disbursal. Returning gold ornaments to customers afterloan closure.
• Managing cash (system & physical)during loan disbursals, interest collection, and loan closures.
• Create new CUID in system &modifications in LOS during Disbursal, Part Release / Payments & LoanClosure.
• Maintain branch registers as per theguidelines – Key / Cash / Packet Movements, Staff & Customer Visits etc.
• Ensuring proper collection and storageof customer KYC documents.
• Following up with customers for timelycollection of interest and principal payments.
• Providing good customer service at everystep i.e. while pledging, releasing, or making interest payments.

Additional Responsibilities:

Insummary, the Gold appraiser is responsible for the end-to-end transactionprocess for gold loans - from valuation to disbursal to closure, along withcustomer service.
