Job summary

IIFL Finance Ltd is seeking a Gold Appraiser to handle end-to-end gold loan transactions from valuation through disbursal to closure. The role includes customer service at every step of pledging, releasing, or paying interest.

Key duties include accurate gold valuation, proper packing/storage, cash handling during disbursals and closures, and meticulous KYC/documentation compliance. Incentives are offered in addition to the stated CTC.

Qualifications

• Experience in gold loan processes and associated customer interactions.
• Ability to conduct gold valuations and determine purity accurately.
• Proficient in handling cash during disbursals and loan closures.

Responsibilities

• Attend to walk-in customers and answer queries about gold loan processes and schemes.
• Perform gold valuations and identify purity accurately.
• Pack and store gold and packets after loan disbursal; return ornaments after loan closure.
• Manage cash during disbursals, interest collection, and loan closures.
• Create new CUID in system and modify LOS during disbursal, part release/payments and loan closure.
• Maintain branch registers for key/cash/packet movements and staff visits.
• Ensure proper collection and storage of customer KYC documents.
• Follow up with customers for timely collection of interest and principal payments.
• Provide good customer service at every step of pledging, releasing, or paying interest.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Attending to walk-in customers, addressingqueries about the gold loan process and schemes offered.


• Conducting gold valuations andidentifying gold purity accurately.


• Properly packing and storing gold andgold packets after loan disbursal. Returning gold ornaments to customers afterloan closure.


• Managing cash (system & physical)during loan disbursals, interest collection, and loan closures.


• Create new CUID in system &modifications in LOS during Disbursal, Part Release / Payments & LoanClosure.


• Maintain branch registers as per theguidelines – Key / Cash / Packet Movements, Staff & Customer Visits etc.


• Ensuring proper collection and storageof customer KYC documents.


• Following up with customers for timelycollection of interest and principal payments.


• Providing good customer service at everystep i.e. while pledging, releasing, or making interest payments.

Additional Responsibilities:

Insummary, the Gold appraiser is responsible for the end-to-end transactionprocess for gold loans - from valuation to disbursal to closure, along withcustomer service.

CTC Upto 3 Lacs ( for Non-Metro) / 4.20 Lacs ( for Metro )
