The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of progressive tax experience, including supervisory exposure, and be proficient with tax software and advanced Excel.

• Minimum 6 years of progressive tax experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Extensive experience with individual and business tax forms, including international tax components.
• Proficiency in tax software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee the preparation and review of individual Tax form (Form 1040).
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring their development and performance.
• Coordinate workload distribution, ensuring timely completion of tasks and compliance with tax laws.
• Serve as the primary contact for escalated client issues and complex tax matters, including international tax filings.
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to benefit clients.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure the team is informed and compliant.
• Collaborate with the Team Lead/Managers to set departmental goals and objectives.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and evaluation of tax staff.
