Job summary

Strada seeks a seasoned US payroll specialist to coordinate daily payroll activities from Kochi, with support from the Payroll TL and Manager. You will answer client payroll questions and prepare diverse reports for internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires 4+ years in US payroll, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros), and excellent communication. Working hours align with US EST, Mondays to Fridays, with potential long hours and weekend work.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of US payroll experience.
• Strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
• Subject matter expertise in payroll testing, mapping, reporting and analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 3-year degree or diploma.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day payroll activities with the team.
• Provide assistance to client on all payroll related questions.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Tax and Garnishment teams to smooth payroll processes.
• Train T2 resources on payroll processes.
• Prepare process documents for payroll tasks.
• Review and sign off on payroll transmittal reports.
• Manage payroll team in the absence of the Team Lead.
• Coordinate payroll transmittal activities and ensure timely payroll runs.
• Prepare detailed RCAs for payroll issues/escalations and preventive actions.
• Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records.
