Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage international payroll (US) with timely and accurate processing for business partners, preferably with experience in Travel, Transportation & Hospitality sectors.

The role requires 4 to 6 years in payroll, finance, or accounting, a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, and ideally a master’s degree or professional certifications. Strong SAP ERP and MS Office skills are essential.

• Master’s degree or professional certifications will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process international payroll (US) including biweekly, semi-monthly, and monthly cycles.
• Handle payroll activities across multiple countries (input to payroll, vendor submission, validation of calculations).
• Validate accounting checks and GL accounts for each department; post accruals and actual expenses per COA.
• Provide payroll administration support: respond to emails, run reports, support employee queries.

• We are seeking a skilled payroll specialist who is responsible for performing payroll accounting for internation payroll (US) in timely and accurate manner for our business partners (preferably for US client).

Experience:

• With experience of 4 to 6 years in payroll, finance, or accounting role, preferably within Travel Transportation & Hospitality sector.

• Master’s degree or professional certifications will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing & GL Accounting:
• Manually Process International Payroll for Biweekly, Semi Monthly, and Monthly.
• To handle multiple countries Payroll activities (Input to Payroll, Submission to vendor, Validation of calculations for sign off)
• Validating accounting checks and GL accounts for each Department
• Prepare and post accrual and actual expense journal entry based on chart of accounts
• Strong accounting knowledge

Payroll Administration:

• Perform Adhoc Administrative tasks, e.g. responding to emails, running reports.
• Responding to emails, Act as query support to employees

Technical Skills:

• Prior hands-on experience of SAP ERP.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment
