Job summary

Team Computers is seeking an L1 Desktop Engineer to provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users within the organization in India. The ideal candidate will have basic Mac OS troubleshooting, system configuration, user allocation, and laptop replacement experience.

Responsibilities include on-site and remote support, firmware and software installation, user account setup, data backup during laptop replacements, and escalation of complex issues to L2/L3 teams.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in IT support or desktop engineering role.
• Basic Mac OS troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of system configuration, software installation, and user management.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic hardware, network, and peripheral issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT support tools is a plus.
• Ability to work in a 9x5 support environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 technical support for Mac OS and assist users with system-related issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for software, hardware, crashes, and network connectivity.
• Assist in system configuration for new user allocations, including new laptop setup and software installation.
