Jupiter in India is seeking a skilled Water Treatment Plant Operator to manage DI water, RO, UF, EDI and WTP systems. You will ensure water quality meets production specs, monitor equipment, and maintain logs across shifts.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience and a Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering, with a focus on safety, SOP compliance, and preventive maintenance.

Formación

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Experience of 5–8 years in water treatment and plant operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of SOPs, safety, PPE and 5S standards is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor RO, UF, EDI, DI Water and WTP systems.
• Maintain DI water quality according to production specs.
• Monitor pumps, valves, filters, chemical dosing and water storage.
• Record operating parameters, water quality and consumption data.
• Coordinate with production for uninterrupted DI water supply.
• Perform routine equipment checks and first-level troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain shift logbooks, daily reports and handover records.

Role & responsibilities:

Responsible for shift-wise operation and monitoring of DI Water, RO, UF, EDI, Mixed Bed, Rinse Water and Water Treatment Plant systems in a solar manufacturing facility.

• Operate and monitor RO, UF, EDI, Mixed Bed, DI Water and WTP systems.
• Maintain DI water quality as per production specifications.
• Monitor pumps, valves, filters, chemical dosing and water storage systems.
• Record operating parameters, water quality and consumption data.
• Ensure proper chemical dosing, system regeneration and water recovery.
• Coordinate with production to ensure uninterrupted DI water supply.
• Perform routine equipment checks and first-level troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain shift logbooks, daily reports and shift handover records.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, PPE and 5S standards.

Preferred candidate profile:

Experience: 5 to 8 Years
Qualification: Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering
