Job summary

PurpleDrive Technologies in Ambernath is seeking a UPS Test Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience to lead hands-on testing of UPS systems, perform FAT and FWT per approved QAP, and coordinate with Production, IPQA, IQA and Engineering teams. You will maintain test bays and equipment, analyze failures, and support DVT, Engineering and Applications teams.

Diploma or BE in Electrical or Electronics Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on UPS testing per FAT/FWT.
• Analyze UPS failures and coordinate corrective actions with Production/IPQA/IQA/Engineering.
• Maintain test bays, load banks and testing equipment.
• Support DVT, Engineering and Applications teams in testing new products.
• Provide training on UPS testing to newly joined engineers.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts with good troubleshooting and communication skills.

Position: UPS Test Engineer
Location: Ambernath
Experience: 3 to 6 Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in UPS Testing, including Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Factory Witness Test (FWT) as per approved QAP and customer requirements.
• Strong knowledge of UPS Systems, Power Electronics, and Power Products, with the ability to handle customer inspections and resolve technical queries.
• Monitor and analyze UPS failures during testing and coordinate with Production, IPQA, IQA, and Engineering teams for corrective actions.
• Perform maintenance of test bays, load banks, and testing equipment, ensuring timely calibration and operational readiness.
• Support DVT, Engineering, and Application teams in testing new products and components.
• Provide technical and product training to newly joined engineers across Service and other departments whenever required.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts with strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
