Tata Consultancy Services in Pune district, India, seeks a skilled production-support specialist to join our operations team. The candidate will provide application support for code deployments, diagnose incidents, and perform root-cause analyses to prevent recurrence.

Expertise in Unix and Oracle, Autosys scheduling, and IT monitoring is essential. Collaboration with vendors and the development team to apply fixes, patches, and preventive maintenance is required.

• Must know Unix and Oracle fundamentals.
• Experience in production support and deployment help.
• Able to provide app team support for deployments and issues.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and executive summaries.
• Experience with product vendors/tech specialists to resolve issues.
• Apply fixes/patches; maintain preventive maintenance and monitoring.
• Understand design best practices; provide dev team support.
• Autosys scheduling expertise; ITRS monitoring knowledge is a plus.
• Open to learn new technologies and build automation.
• Troubleshoot job, user access, and app setup issues.
• Oracle DB backups/restores and performance tuning.
• Experience developing Autosys JILs and managing batches.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Good Knowledge in Unix and Oracle.
• Good Experience In production support Environment
• Able to provide Application team support for code deployment and any other issues
• Well versed in troubleshooting incidents, problem determination and resolution, performing root-cause analysis and preparing executive summary for management updates.
• Experience on working with product vendors/technical specialists to resolve issues.
• Well versed in apply fixes/patches and service packs as required. Ensure application stability through preventive maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of best practices in design and implementation. Provide technical expertise/support to development team.
• Expertise in Autosys Scheduling tool is preferred and any Monitoring Tool (ITRS is added advantage)
• Candidate should be open to learn new technologies and build automation systems
• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving job issue, user access issue, application setup issues.
• - Good conceptual Knowledge on Oracle Database , restores , Backups and Performance tunning
• - Good experience in Autosys, developing and deploying Autosys JILs, Managing batches scheduled in Autosys
