Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA for enterprise HA database administration, focusing on Oracle 19c and later. The role covers patching, provisioning, cloning, and lifecycle RBAC, with proficiency in ADG, RAC, ASM, RMAN and GoldenGate, plus Oracle Enterprise Manager.

Strong client communication is essential. The candidate will join a 24x7 support team, manage multiple DBs (Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL), and contribute to automation efforts with Ansible.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency & experience in enterprise level HA database administration in Oracle (19c & later).
• DB patching, provisioning, cloning, RBAC. Life Cycle management.
• Proficiency in ADG, RAC, ASM, RMAN
• Oracle Golden Gate and DB performance tuning.
• Oracle Enterprise Manager administration
• Good communication skill to interact with customers

• Part of 24*7 support team (ODC & oncall). Manage Oracle, MSSQL/ PostGress Databases
• Maintain DB profiles, patching, cloning & automation.
• Flexible mindset to technically drive team and meet customer deliverables.

• DB patching, provisioning, cloning, RBAC. Life Cycle management.
• Proficiency in ADG, RAC, ASM, RMAN.
• Oracle Golden Gate and DB performance tuning.
• Experience in Linux / Windows OS administration is welcome
• Experience in DB level Orchestration/ Automation/ Ansible playbooks/ APIs will add additional value.
