Job summary

UNO MINDA is seeking a Plant Finance Head in Haryana to lead all finance, costing, budgeting, and compliance for the plant. The role focuses on optimizing cost performance and driving financial discipline across production operations.

You will partner with Production, SCM, Quality and HR to deliver actionable insights, manage working capital, and steer month- and year-end closes while strengthening internal controls.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in plant finance, costing, and compliance.
• Ability to drive cost control and optimize manufacturing costs.
• Experience with monthly closing, MIS, and variance analysis.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant finance, accounting, costing, and compliance functions.
• Prepare and monitor annual budget, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyze plant P&L, profitability, and cost performance.
• Drive cost control and cost optimization initiatives across the plant.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, conversion costs, yield, scrap, and variances.
• Ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation.
• Review monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
• Conduct variance analysis for production, material, labor, and overhead costs.
• Monitor capex budgets and evaluate investment proposals.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and corporate financial requirements.
• Coordinate internal, external, cost, and statutory audits.
• Manage working capital, inventory control, and cash flow efficiency.
• Strengthen internal financial controls and governance processes.
• Support business decisions through financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Partner with Production, SCM, Quality, HR, and Maintenance teams for business performance improvement.
• Monitor key financial KPIs such as EBITDA, inventory turns, working capital, cost per wheel/component, and plant profitability.
• Drive automation and digitization initiatives in finance processes.
• Lead and develop the plant finance team.
• Liaise with corporate finance and ensure compliance with company policies.
