Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Hyderabad, Telangana is seeking a seasoned finance leader to head end-to-end finance and accounting for the manufacturing plant. You will prepare MIS, financial statements, and plant performance dashboards while driving budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end finance and accounting operations for the manufacturing plant.
• Prepare and review monthly MIS, financial statements, management reports, and plant performance dashboards.
• Drive plant budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost control initiatives.
• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory, working capital, CAPEX, and operating expenses.
• Ensure accurate accounting and timely closure of monthly and annual books.
• Roll out MIS by the 7th of the following month, including BU-/P&L-wise profitability and balance sheet details.
• Manage statutory compliance, audits, taxation, internal controls, and financial governance.
• Partner with Plant Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Business teams to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor inventory valuation, provisions for obsolete/slow-moving stock, and reconciliation of key accounts.
• Ensure SAP is effectively implemented and utilized for finance and plant-related processes.
• Identify financial risks, strengthen internal controls, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with auditors and resolve observations.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to leadership for informed decision-making.
