Job summary

Precision Metal Stampings is seeking a senior financial leader to partner with the CEO and Board on strategic planning, budgeting, and capital allocation. The role will standardize costing methods, manage cash flow, and ensure tax compliance and governance across the manufacturing operations.

The position requires a track record of leading finance teams, implementing robust internal controls, and delivering accurate financial reporting for a production environment.

Job description

1. Financial Strategy & Executive Leadership

• Partner with the CEO and Board on strategic planning, long-term business strategy, capital allocation, and budgeting.

2. Plant & Cost Accounting

• Standardize product costing methodologies (Standard Costing vs. Actual Costing) to accurately track Direct Labor, Direct Materials, and Factory Overhead allocations.

3. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

• Lead cash flow management strategies to optimize the cash conversion cycle (CCC)—balancing Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Inventory Turnover.

4. Compliance, Tax & Governance

• Ensure full compliance with regional corporate taxes, direct/indirect tax laws (e.g., GST, VAT, Sales Tax), import/export duties, and customs regulations.
• Oversee month-end/year-end closures, audit management, and statutory financial reporting.
• Establish robust internal financial controls to safeguard physical assets, inventory, and intellectual property.

5. Systems & Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing finance, accounting, and purchase-reconciliation team.

Qualifications & Key Requirements

• Experience: 10–15+ years of progressive financial leadership, with at least 3–5 years as a Financial Controller in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
