Job summary

Accenture is seeking an Underwriting Analyst in the Insurance Underwriting space. The role requires 3–5 years of experience in Property & Casualty underwriting, with graduation in any field.

You will support the regional UA Manager, triage submissions, issue policies, endorsements, and cancellations, and assist in pricing and reporting. The position involves performing underwriting tasks, preparing documents, and possibly working in rotational shifts as part of a dynamic team within Accenture's

Qualifications

• Graduation in any field.
• 3–5 years of experience in P&C underwriting.
• Experience with policy issuance, endorsements, and premium processes.

Responsibilities

• Support regional UA Manager in daily activities and act as first point of contact for UAs in the region.
• Triages submissions for missing information and follows up with brokers for outstanding items.
• Issues policies, endorsements, and cancellations; prepares policy writing instructions and premium billings.
• Defines insurance policy and calculates premium including terms and conditions for Property
• Assists underwriter in preparation of business and metric reports; reviews procedures to resolve issues.
• Performs quality control of premium audit statements prior to underwriting review; resolves discrepancies with auditors.
• Completes loss rating and develops initial pricing, basic coverage structures, quotations, and binder packages on behalf of the underwriter.

What are we looking for?

• 6-8 Years of experience in P&C underwriting or policy servicing
• Hands on experience of managing the one of the following tasks from the earlier experience from Insurance Underwriting Cycle
• New business submission, status change, policy issuance, premium audit & booking, policy drafting, mid term endorsements
