Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking an Underwriting New Associate for its General Insurance team in Gurugram. The role involves handling Property & Casualty underwriting tasks, policy servicing, and supporting quotes and renewals under supervision.

Requirements include any graduation and 0-1 year of relevant experience. The candidate will work within a team with a supervisor and may rotate shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience in Property & Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing across shared services/Third Party BPO service providers (Essential) You would be part of General Insurance team, where you would be managing, Claims Adjudication, Claims Processing /Portfolio Management.
• Hands on experience of managing tasks from Insurance Underwriting Cycle – Submission, Indication, Policy Issuance, Premium Audit/booking, Policy maintenance, Endorsement, Quote/Booking, Aggregation / Modeling, Benchmarking, Binders Processing, renewal prep.

Responsibilities

• Solve routine problems largely through precedent and guidelines
• Interact mainly with your team and direct supervisor
• Work under detailed instructions on all tasks
• You may be required to work in rotational shifts

What would you do?

• 0-3 years of experience in Property & Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing across shared services/Third Party BPO service providers (Essential) You would be part of General Insurance team, where you would be managing, Claims Adjudication, Claims Processing /Portfolio Management. Checking on Fraudulent Claims Rating and quoting including receipt, clearance, data gathering and submission for operation of insurance services to set-up new business or renewal submissions in the support of developing an insurance quote. What are we looking for?
• Hands on experience of managing one of the following tasks from the earlier experience from Insurance Underwriting Cycle – Submission, Indication, Policy Issuance, Premium Audit/booking, Policy maintenance, Endorsement, Quote/Booking, Aggregation / Modeling, Benchmarking, Binders Processing, renewal prep. Doc management, Indexing, invoicing, Loss Run
• Good to have someone with experience in Re-Insurance Fac and Treaty business.
• You will be working within your team and direct supervisor.
• You will be provided detailed to a moderate level of instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments and the decisions that you make that would impact your work. Roles and Responsibilities:
