Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking an Underwriting Associate to join the US P&C insurance team in Bengaluru. You will support the underwriting process by reviewing submissions, performing risk assessments, and preparing premium quotes in collaboration with underwriters across commercial lines.

The role requires meticulous analysis, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and graduation. You may assist with claims processing tasks and participate in rotational shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in property & casualty underwriting or insurance underwriting.
• Graduation from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Review submissions, assess risk, and prepare premium quotes with the underwriting team.
• Support portfolio management and renewal submissions, including data gathering.
• Coordinate with underwriters across commercial lines to ensure compliant, accurate pricing.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and contribute to accuracy in rating and quoting.

You would be part of General Insurance team, where would you be managing, Claims Adjudication, Claims Processing /Portfolio Management. Checking on Fraudulent Claims Rating and quoting including receipt, clearance, data gathering and submission for operation of insurance services to set-up new business or renewal submissions in the support of developing an insurance quote.
