Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced UI Automation Tester in Chennai with 6+ years of hands-on software testing experience. The role requires strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and expertise in Playwright or Cypress to design, develop, and maintain automated UI tests.

The candidate will work in a hybrid setup with on-site presence requested on fixed days. You will collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure reliable automation coverage and high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Testing/Automation Testing.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience in UI Automation Testing.
• Understanding of Functional, Regression and End-to-End Testing.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities
