Job summary

Epam Systems seeks a Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to join our team in India. You will lead a testers' team, design and implement automation strategies, and ensure robust QA across software products.

You will work with Playwright, Mocha, and Chai, plus Jest, Puppeteer and Cypress as needed, contributing to our automation framework and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of automation testing experience focused on JavaScript.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with hands-on experience.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience.
• Proficient with UI automation tools: Playwright, Mocha, Chai.
• Familiar with Jest, Puppeteer, Cypress for test automation.
• Experience in API testing and test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of WebDriverIO for UI testing.
• Good English proficiency (B2+).

Requirements

• 6 to 9 years of experience in Automation Testing with a focus on JavaScript
• Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript with 4 to 6 years of hands‑on experience
• 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
• Proficiency in UI Automation tools such as Playwright, Mocha and Chai
• Familiarity with Jest, Puppeteer and Cypress
• Experience in Web Service and API Test Automation including test cases and test automation frameworks
• Understanding of Webdriver I/O for UI testing
• B2+ English level proficiency
