Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and TypeScript to design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API testing. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in UI and API automation, CI/CD integration, and modern software testing practices within Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and backend applications.
• Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Develop and execute automated UI and API test suites.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and ensure continuous quality validation.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Create and maintain test data, test environments and supporting documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation framework enhancements.
• Monitor test execution results, quality metrics, and application stability.
• Support manual and exploratory testing activities when required.
• Advocate shift‑left testing practices and contribute to quality engineering initiatives.

Mandatory Skills
