Job description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright using TypeScript or Python. This role focuses on designing and building scalable automation frameworks and delivering robust UI and API automation solutions in fast-paced, client-driven environments.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable collaborating with multiple stakeholders while working within Agile delivery models.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript or Python).

Build and maintain robust end-to-end UI and API automation suites.

Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements.

Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and daily stand-ups in Agile environments.

Ensure high-quality deliverables within defined timelines.

Mentor junior QA engineers and enforce automation best practices.

Prepare automation reports, dashboards, and quality metrics for stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

5–8 years of experience in Software Testing with strong focus on Automation.

Hands-on expertise in Playwright with TypeScript or Python.

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub).

Working knowledge of Git and version control systems.

Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills.

Good to Have

Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave).

Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure / AWS).

Exposure to performance or security testing.

Experience in service-based delivery models and client-facing roles.
