Job summary

MacroAce Polyplast LLP in Vasai East, Maharashtra, is seeking an experienced Tubing / Hose Extrusion Operator to operate and maintain a precision PU/PA tubing extrusion line. You will set up extrusion parameters, monitor PLC/HMI controls, ensure tube tolerances, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot line issues while adhering to safety and quality procedures.

2-5+ years of relevant experience and hands-on knowledge of PU/PA tubing manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

Tubing / Hose Extrusion Operator

We are hiring an experienced Tubing / Hose Extrusion Operator for our manufacturing facility in Vasai East, Maharashtra. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining a precision tubing extrusion line for manufacturing PU and PA (Polyamide/Nylon) tubing.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate PU and PA/Polyamide precision tubing extrusion lines.
• Set up and adjust extrusion parameters including temperature, screw speed, line speed, cooling, sizing and haul-off.
• Operate and monitor PLC and HMI-controlled extrusion machines.
• Maintain required tube OD, ID, wall thickness and dimensional tolerances.
• Monitor production parameters and identify extrusion defects.
• Troubleshoot issues related to extrusion, cooling, sizing, haul-off and material flow.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of the extrusion line.
• Carry out basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Maintain consistent product quality and minimize material wastage.
• Follow production, quality and safety procedures.

Required Experience & Skills

• Hands‑on experience in PU, PA/Polyamide, medical tubing, catheter tubing, pneumatic tubing or other precision tubing extrusion.
• Good understanding of tubing extrusion processes and dimensional control.
• Practical experience operating PLC and HMI-based extrusion machines.
• Knowledge of extrusion machine setup, parameter adjustment and troubleshooting.
• Experience with machine maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to independently identify and resolve common extrusion problems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with PU/TPU and PA/Polyamide tubing extrusion.
• Experience manufacturing medical‑grade or high‑precision tubing.
• Experience with extrusion lines using online sizing, cooling and haul‑off systems.
• Experience with multi-layer or tight‑tolerance tubing will be an advantage.

Important

Candidates with only general plastic extrusion experience and no hands‑on tubing extrusion experience may not be suitable.

Working Hours: 12‑hour shift

Experience: 2-5+ years preferred

Salary: ₹30,000–₹45,000 per month, depending on experience and technical skills.
