Job summary

Vita Cable is seeking an experienced Cable Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team in Ahmedabad. The role focuses on wire and cable extrusion with hands-on setup, process control and quality assurance.

You will manage extrusion machine setup, die setting, temperature and speed controls, and troubleshoot production issues. 3+ years in wire and cable manufacturing required; experience with fine wires is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in wire & cable manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in extrusion.
• Extrusion machine setup and die setting.
• Controlling temperature, speed and other extrusion parameters.
• Troubleshooting extrusion-related production issues.
• Experience with fine wires / small-size cables is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machine and monitor process parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
• Set up dies, adjust temperatures and speeds, and optimize extrusion processes.
• Ensure product quality and dimensional accuracy, meeting specification tolerances.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain production records and report any deviations or equipment needs.

We are looking for an experienced Cable Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in wire & cable extrusion, including:

• PVC, XLPE, XLPO, TPE, TPU, TPR insulated wires & cables
• Different cable constructions
• Extrusion machine setup & die setting
• Controlling temperature, speed and other extrusion parameters
• Troubleshooting extrusion-related production issues
• Experience with fine wires / small-size cables will be an added advantage

We are especially looking for someone who can independently handle customised cable production and maintain good quality, dimensional accuracy and productivity.
