Job summary

Polywindows is seeking an experienced uPVC extrusion operations leader to manage 24x7 profile extrusion and startup at our Alandi plant. You will lead European twin-screw extrusion lines, train technicians, and drive continuous improvement on the factory floor.

Ideal candidates have 5–15 years of hands-on extrusion experience, a Diploma or BE in Engineering, and proven leadership on complex extrusion projects. Senior professionals may be considered for Plant Head on mutual agreement.

Qualifications

• 5 to 15 years hands-on experience in rigid uPVC profile extrusion.
• Diploma or BE in Engineering or equivalent 15+ years direct technical experience.
• Experience with European twin-screw extruders preferred.
• Strong leadership and shop-floor management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, machine startup, and ongoing production of rigid uPVC profiles.
• Operate and maintain European twin-screw extruders 24x7.
• Train junior technicians across shifts.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues during extrusion.
• Oversee team members and junior technicians across shift operations.
• Drive production of new hollow and structural foam profiles.
• Maintain daily production logs and quality standards.
• End-to-end accountability for factory floor management and upkeep.

Polywindows is hiring experienced uPVC machine operations professionals to lead and manage factory operations at our Alandi plant. We are looking for hands‑on experts to drive the startup of manufacturing, oversee 24x7 profile extrusion, and maintain complex twin‑screw machinery.

Job highlights :

• Lead machine start up and extrusion operations .
• Troubleshoot machinery, train technicians, manage factory floor and production
• 5 to 15 years of hands-on experience in rigid uPVC profile extrusion (European twin-screw extruders preferred).
• Education: Diploma or B.E. in Engineering, or equivalent 15+ years of direct technical experience.
• UPVC Hands-on twin screw extrusion machine operations experience, machine maintenance, machine installation, plant operations.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot machinery issues independently on-site.
• Strong leadership, team management, and shop‑floor operational capabilities.
• Senior professionals with proven expertise can also be considered on a mutually agreed success‑fee basis or as Plant Head.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the setup, machine startup, and ongoing production of complex rigid uPVC profiles.
• Operate and maintain European twin‑screw extruders on a continuous 24x7 operational cycle.
• Operate & subsequently train junior technicians across all shifts.
• Troubleshoot technical, mechanical, and operational issues during raw material mixing, extrusion, and profile output.
• Oversee team members and junior technicians across shift operations.
• Drive the production of new hollow and structural foam profiles.
• Maintain complete daily production logs, raw material consumption records, and factory quality standards.
• Take end‑to‑end accountability for factory floor management, output efficiency, and machinery upkeep.
