Job summary

Anerva Tours and Travels, based in Mananthavady, Kerala, seeks a Travel Consultant - Ticketing for full-time on-site work. You will handle daily ticketing, issue flight tickets, manage changes, and ensure fare accuracy while coordinating end-to-end travel arrangements for clients.

You will advise on routes and schedules, resolve booking issues, and work with internal teams to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in travel consulting and ticketing with the ability to propose itineraries.
• Experience managing travel arrangements including ticketing and multi-leg journeys.
• Proficient in reservations, PNRs, and timely confirmations.
• Excellent customer service, clear communication and problem-solving.
• Familiar with major GDS like Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo and fare rules.

Role Description

The Travel Consultant - Ticketing is a full-time, on-site role based in Mananthavady. This position involves handling day-to-day ticketing operations, including booking and issuing flight tickets, managing changes and cancellations, and ensuring accurate fare calculations. The consultant will coordinate end-to-end travel arrangements, maintain reservation records, and work closely with customers to understand their travel needs and provide suitable options. Responsibilities also include advising clients on routes, schedules, and travel requirements, resolving booking-related issues, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management, with the ability to advise clients on suitable itineraries and travel solutions.
• Experience managing Travel Arrangements, including ticketing, scheduling, and coordinating multi-leg journeys.
• Proficient in Reservations, including using booking systems, managing PNRs, and ensuring accurate, timely confirmations.
• Excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on clear communication, problem-solving, and maintaining client satisfaction.
• Familiarity with major GDS or airline booking platforms (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and basic fare and ticketing rules.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines.
• Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced environment; ability to collaborate with colleagues and maintain professional conduct.
• Relevant experience in travel agencies or ticketing roles; a diploma or certification in Travel and Tourism or related field is an advantage.
