AtkinsRéalis in India seeks a Transport Planner to join our team in Bangalore or Gurgaon. The role requires a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Transport Planning, 4+ years of experience, and strong skills in Python, Power BI, Excel VBA, and R.

Proficiency in GIS and rail planning is valued, along with excellent written communication. You will work within a collaborative project team, applying ME regional modelling guidance and TIS Reviews, with opportunities for hybrid work arrangements and relocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a Master’s degree in Transport Planning.
• 4+ years of experience in Transport Planning.
• Knowledge of ME regional modelling guidance and approaches.
• Experience with TIS Reviews.
• Experience with Strategic Transport Planning work and Rail Planning.
• Programming skills in Python, Power BI, Excel VBA and R.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with MS Excel.
• Good written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Based in the AtkinsRéalis office in Bangalore or Gurgaon, India.
• Conduct transport planning analyses and modelling tasks.
• Apply ME regional modelling guidance and TIS Review techniques.

Job Description Overview We are looking for a Transport Planner to join our team. This role will be based at our AtkinsRéalis office in Bangalore/Gurgaon, India. Your role

Appropriate academic and professional qualifications (Bachelor’s Degree with a Master’s degree in Transport Planning). 4+ years of experience in Transport Planning. Knowledge and experience of ME regional modelling guidance and approaches. Experience and knowledge of TIS Reviews. Experience and knowledge of Strategic Transport Planning work. Experience and knowledge of Rail Planning work. Experience in programming skills such as Python, Power BI, Excel VBA, and R. Strong numerical and analytical abilities, including a high degree of competence in MS Excel. Ability to work in a team as part of a wider project. Good written communication skills.

Ability to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients. Experience in the use of analytical and research tools such as GIS and databases.
