Job summary

Capgemini Engineering invites applications for a Transition Manager role. You will lead end-to-end transition activities, including transfer of people, knowledge, applications, infrastructure, and processes to Capgemini delivery teams.

You will ensure a smooth handover, mitigate risks, validate knowledge transfer, and enable steady-state service delivery across global programs. The role requires 12+ years in IT/engineering services and a proven track record delivering multiple end-to-end

Qualifications

Your Role:

As a Transition Manager, you will lead end-to-end transition and service takeover activities involving the transfer of people, knowledge, applications, infrastructure, business processes, operational responsibilities, and stakeholder relationships from incumbent vendors or client teams to Capgemini delivery organizations.

You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and controlled transition while maintaining service continuity, mitigating risks, validating knowledge transfer, and establishing operational readiness for steady-state service delivery.

Your Profile:

• 12+ years of experience in IT, Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud, ERP, or Managed Services environments.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience leading large-scale transition and transformation programs.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering at least 5 end-to-end transitions from initiation through stabilization.
• Experience managing global and multi-country delivery transitions.
• Strong expertise in application, infrastructure, engineering services, ERP, cloud, or engineering solutions transitions, preferably within the Electrical and Power industry.
• Demonstrated experience in incumbent vendor displacement, rebadging, knowledge acquisition, shadow/reverse-shadow operations, and service stabilization.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience interacting with executive leadership and client sponsors.
• Strong program management, governance, risk management, and communication capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
