bp's Transformation, Analytics and Insights (TAI) team in Pune and globally is seeking a senior leader to drive technology delivery transformation. You will work with VP/SVP-level stakeholders to embed new ways of working and governance across portfolios.

You will lead with a data-driven approach, navigate ambiguity, and mentor cross-functional teams across US, UK, India and Malaysia. The role emphasizes collaboration, speed, and high-impact change within bp's evolving tech strategy.

This role provides the opportunity to work alongside Technology leadership to deliver key initiatives that will fundamentally change the way that Technology works at bp supporting the business shift to a Upstream/Downstream model.

There will be the opportunity to work on broad initiatives with high levels of ambiguity. The role will evolve as priorities within the change agenda shift, but the role will maintain a high leadership focus to raise the bar as a Technology organisation.

What you will deliver:

• Become a trusted advisor to Technology leadership in assignee portfolios
• Embed changes to ways of working at a Technology portfolio (VP/SVP) level
• Measurable impact in adoption of tools/processes
• Methodology to track Technology wide initiatives and impact to specific portfolios
• Maintain backlog of activities required to ensure Technology leadership success
• Provide access to specialists and/or provide specialist consulting services to leadership to enable them to achieve their goals
• Consistent governance structure to give visibility into work

What you will need to be successful (experience and qualifications)****:

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong understanding of technology delivery, digital or physical
• Experience working in matrixed, global environments with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and partner leadership skills.
• Evidence of leading global products, projects or programmes with a globally distributed team orInterested parties.
• Demonstrable skill in dealing with ambiguity and handling upwards to senior leadership.
• Partnering with leadership (VP/SVP/C-Suite) to deliver organisational change
• Evidence of working Customer back
• Demonstrable experience of using data to drive decisions and commercial understanding.

Desirable Attributes:

• 10 years+ work experience
• Familiarity with transformation frameworks such as Disciplined Agile, SAFe, or similar is a plus.
• Strategic perspective with the ability to translate vision into executable plans.
• Experience with organisational change and transformation is a plus but not a hard requirement.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex environments.
• Passion for continuous improvement and fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion and highperformance.
• Understanding of bps operating model and company structure
• Evidence of being a committed team player
• Change Management, Product Management or Programme Management background
• Experience mentoring and coaching others or active membership in employee founded support groups

The Transformation, Analytics and Insights (TAI) team reports directly to the EVP Technology and is distributed globally across US, UK, India and Malaysia. Our team Credo brings us together to ensure that we work as one team together regardless of location. We work to ensure that Technology is an efficient, effective and trusted partner for the bp business.

Our activities span from creating tooling to support improved delivery efficiency to supporting transformation activity and mergers & acquisition.

We are tightly coupled across the team to Technology leadership and highly visible within the Technology organization.

Ways of working within the TAI team is a team of trusted advisors working alongside SVPs and VPs to deliver changes to working practices and embedding transformation change. We act as a consultancy, providing short engagements with longer term governance to ensure that initiatives are embedded that may be devised by the wider TAI team utilising a fail fast and scale mental model. We problem solve for our SVPs and VPs, leveraging deep relationships across the TAI team and Technology.

The pace is fast and changable; we care deeply about each other, are kind even when it is tough to speak the truth and have each others back.
