Job summary

Manubhai & Shah LLP, a well-established India-based KPO, invites candidates for a due diligence analyst role in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Jamnagar, Udaipur, Surat, Rajkot. You will analyze financial data, identify earnings adjustments and key margin drivers, and support management with diligence findings.

You will own the due diligence databook, reconcile payroll and tax documents, and present analyses to clients using Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in related field such as public accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, or corporate development.
• Experience analyzing financial and operational data to identify earnings quality adjustments, trends and diligence findings.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for databooks and client presentations.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP.

Job Description:

• Analyze financial and operational data to identify and quantify quality of earnings adjustments, net working capital trends and adjustments, debt-like items, key margin drivers, and other deal risks, and develop follow-up inquiries for Management regarding trends, fluctuations, and diligence findings and support.
• Take ownership of the due diligence databook, including spreading trial balance-level financial information, preparing account mappings, and updating supplementary schedules based on the Target's financial data.
• Manipulate, analyze, and normalize raw financial data from accounting systems and various reports to support quality of earnings, net working capital, and other due diligence analyses, including payroll by employee, vendor spend analyses, account-level expense breakdowns, revenue by customer analyses, and other data requests.
• Reconcile Management-provided financial information to supporting documentation, including validating management-proposed EBITDA and obtaining supporting documentation to assess completeness and accuracy. Review and reconcile payroll reports, Forms 941, tax returns, and other third-party records to the Targets financial statements.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, utilizing both applications to prepare and maintain due diligence databooks, financial analyses, and reports that will be presented to clients.
• Demonstrates at least a basic understanding of complex business transactions.
• Responds to team needs and requests in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Understands the factors that contribute to business and professional risks, and applies this knowledge to planning and completing assigned engagements.
• Maintain ongoing relationships with the team and provide additional services as needed.

Experience:

• At least 2+ years experience in a related field; public accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, or corporate development.
