Job summary

Luxoft in India seeks a QA Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in testing TEMENOS TRANSACT Core Banking for Wealth Management. You will partner with internal and external teams to shape test strategy, standards, and sign-off on artifacts, ensuring alignment with complex banking workflows.

You will implement test automation using UFT, Selenium, Appium and Postman; leverage JMeter for performance tests and coordinate ALM/JIRA/ServiceNow for issue tracking and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Must have 5-7 years of testing experience in complex systems.
• Candidate should know TEMENOS TRANSACT Core Banking Product.
• Experience with core banking processes and settlements is required.
• Strong understanding of financial product flows and settlements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external/internal parties to analyze testing requirements and deliver plans and test artifacts.
• Lead test design, strategy, and planning, and sign-off on test completion reports.
• Maintain and manage test data for reproducible results across runs.
• Automate testing using UFT, Selenium, Appium and REST/API tools; support non-regression.
• Communicate effectively with diverse teams and document findings clearly.

The Scope of this project is Core Banking Platform, for Wealth Management (TEMENOS TRANSACT), Transversal topics involving other domains and interfaced applications.

Responsibilities

• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal third-parties to analyze testing requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Completion Report and sign-off, exception reporting, and follow-up
• Excellent knowledge and relevant experience in test automation tools and techniques, both for data entry and for comparison of test results (e.g. on screen, REST APIs, in reports, in database, performance and scalability tests)
• Experience in managing and maintaining test data, which allows reproducible results and comparison between successive test runs
• Strong analytical and quick learning skills required to handle test cases in a rich and complex architecture with many interconnected applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, managers, subject matter experts, and technical teams

• Strong knowledge of financial product flows and their underlying (Securities, Payments, Money Markets, Foreign Exchange, Credit, Derivatives and Structured Products, Commodities, Mutual Funds)
• Corporate actions processing
• Payment and transaction settlement systems (SWIFT, SEPA, local domestic systems in Europe and in Asia)
• Expert in various testing techniques and achieving maximum automation for non-regression tests
• UFT, Selenium, Appium, Postman, etc
• Performance testing: JMeter
• ALM, JIRA, ServiceNow
• Functional tests, Non-Functional Requirements, Security, Performance, Robustness, Middleware testing (MQ, batch processing, REST APIs)

Nice to have

Prior knowledge and experience on TEMENOS TRANSACT (a.k.a T24) Core Banking System is a strong plus.
