Job summary

Luxoft in Bengaluru, India, is seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead automation projects within the Financial Markets testing domain. You will coordinate onshore and offshore teams, design test conditions, and drive automation using Selenium and Cucumber.

The role requires 10+ years in software testing, strong Java knowledge, and hands-on experience with API testing, SQL, and DevOps pipelines. Agile experience and domain banking knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software test design and testing methodologies.
• FM/Banking experience is a must.
• Must have exp. of Leading the Automation Project and work independently.
• Solid knowledge of core JAVA, API Testing, SQL, Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with automated build/testing tools: Selenium, Cucumber, XML, GIT/ADO Repos, ADO/Confluence, ADO Boards/ADO Test Plan.
• Agile Methodology exposure.
• Good exposure on Database testing concepts.
• Familiar with DevOps CI/CD (Jenkins/Groovy/YAML/ADO Pipeline).
• Good understanding of Java/JEE tech stack based applications.
• Integration technology expertise - API, FTP, Webservices & Solace Messaging.

Responsibilities

• Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
• Coordinate between onshore & offshore teams.
• Troubleshoot and triage issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
• Design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use cases.
• Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function.
• Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium & Cucumber.
