Amazon Last Mile learning team is seeking a Training Specialist to support operations trainings for the Last Mile vertical. The role involves developing and delivering training programs to boost employee competencies and workplace performance in line with Amazon's leadership principles.

Travel for business is required. The candidate will own training interventions, track station performance, deliver ITL/digital learning, and collaborate with operations leaders to close knowledge gaps and drive

Qualifications

  • Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Own business goals and identify knowledge gaps to be filled.
  • Proactively recommend ways and support mapped AMZL and EDSP stations toward meeting business goals.
  • Proactively track mapped stations performance and pre-announce training interventions.
  • Supervise structured learning metrics and oversee results for the assigned territory and region.
  • Manage live performance metrics end-to-end for the assigned territory.
  • Conduct learning sessions on new processes and ITL or digital learning as required; deliver training courses as continuous learning.
  • Maintain data and analysis through reports in Excel.
  • Ensure completion of new hire training programs, coaching and other performance improvement programs on time.
  • Partner with operations leaders while conducting station audits to check process compliance and fix gaps promptly.
  • Identify learning coaches and certify them.
  • Lead improvement projects to enhance business performance.
  • Drive Quality and Learning metrics.
  • Conduct chime sessions and classroom sessions for stakeholders

Overall responsibility include boosting the competencies of our employees by developing and conducting effective training programs. The person will indirectly help enhance the employee’s workplace performance in conjunction with the company’s core values to meet the goal of organization. This role requires to travel for business requirements.

  • 6- Conducting learning session on new process as well as BQM through ITL or digital learning as per the requirement. Deliver various training courses as continuous learning.
  • 7- Maintaining data and analysis through reports on excel (as per business requirement)
  • 8- Ensure completion of new hire training program, coaching & other performance improvement programs on time.
  • 9- Partners with operations leaders while conducting station audit to check the process compliance and fix the gaps on an immediate basis.
  • 10- Identifying learning coaches & certifying them.
  • 11- Lead the individual improvement projects to enhance the business performance.
  • 12- Drive Quality & Learning metrics
  • 13- Conducting chime sessions & Class room sessions to the stake holders
A day in the life
  • Track the day to day business metrics and plan to visit the mapped stations for metric improvement
  • Involve and engage well with mapped LA/LGs for daily L&D activities
  • Offer visibility on daily reporting's and progress updates
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with and delivering training/information to Associates and TL level employees
