Job summary

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai (GLIMC) invites a Training Manager to mentor students, shape CRP, and connect academia with corporate realities. You will design in-house curricula, conduct mock interviews, and drive industry-facing activities with the Placements team.

The role emphasizes developing students’ business acumen, delivering soft skills modules, and maintaining progress records, with collaboration across faculty, alumni, and industry mentors to ensure successful

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in corporate training or placement services.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and engagement abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Proven interpersonal skills and collaboration.
• Ability to handle pressure with business maturity.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate in house design curriculum keeping in mind the skillsets and competencies of the job roles offered on B- school campuses
• Assess individual competencies using testing methodologies and address the gaps in 1:1 discussion via Mock Interviews
• Empower students and develop their business acumen introducing frameworks for Industry and Company specific presentations
• Drive business focused activities by guiding the Placecom Committee at well-defined intervals
• Conduct soft skills and professional development modules for students to help them experience the best Campus to Corporate journey
• Engage with Faculty, Alumni and subject matter experts for domain specific preparations
• Work closely with fellow training members in understanding the context and the scope and scale of CRP.
• Record individual assessment for students on varied parameters and maintain the progress reports and documentation of the same

Objective of the Role

• Minimum work experience of 6 to 8 years in training domain in Corporate Placement Services

• Business Acumen and ability to articulate thoughts with business maturity
