Job summary

Magic Bus is seeking a skilled training professional to coordinate and implement capacity-building programmes across the project. The role requires strong content development skills, participatory training methods, and excellent communication abilities to support staff development and community engagement.

You will design learning resources, identify partners, and maintain a detailed training calendar while ensuring quality assessments and effective execution of all training activities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Management, Social Work, Social Sciences, Physical Education, Sports, or an equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in conducting training, workshops and development programmes.
• Strong ability to design training content.
• Familiarity with social issues such as child rights, gender discrimination, education.
• Strong training management and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with participatory training methodologies.
• Good event management and training logistics skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computers and common office applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and ensure effective implementation of all training programmes undertaken under the project.
• Design and facilitate capacity-building programmes for various stakeholders.
• Identify suitable training institutions and partners to support programme objectives.
• Prepare training materials, modules, toolkits, and other learning resources.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive training calendar covering all key staff involved in programme implementation.
• Develop appropriate assessment mechanisms to evaluate training effectiveness and participant learning.
• Evaluate the quality of training and grade participants based on a defined evaluation system, identifying further training needs where required.
• Conduct periodic evaluations to assess the effectiveness and impact of training programmes and recommend improvements.
• Identify and coordinate with technical and management resource persons, subject matter experts, and consultants to provide programme implementation support.
• Maintain appropriate training records, reports, participant data, and documentation for monitoring and review.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 810 years of experience in conducting training, workshops, and development programmes, with at least 23 years of experience in training-related functions involving Government teachers.
• Strong capability in conceptualising and designing training content.
• Familiarity with social issues such as child rights, gender discrimination, education, and related development issues.
• Strong training management and programme coordination skills.
• Familiarity with participatory training methodologies.
• Good event management and training logistics skills.
• Strong coordination and liaison skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
