Job summary

Magic Bus seeks an experienced field leader to drive programme delivery across districts in Andhra Pradesh. You will map territories, build local partnerships, recruit and motivate teams, and ensure timely execution of the Annual Action Plan.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Masters degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Social Sciences, or an equivalent qualification.
• 810 years of experience in the social development sector, with 34 years of experience in a similar role involving Government Agencies.
• Strong understanding of programme implementation, community engagement, and stakeholder coordination.
• Ability to adhere to the highest ethical and moral standards and demonstrate transparency and accountability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Mapping the Territory

• Responsible for mapping the territory, including districts, clusters, communities, playgrounds, schools, and other relevant locations.
• Collaborate with the Area Team to establish area-specific guidelines and procedures.

Partnerships

• Liaise with local entities, communities, schools, and Government institutions/authorities.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to support programme implementation.

Recruiting and Managing the Team

• Identify Monitoring Officers and other leaders throughout the region.
• Ensure all team members comply with organisational policies and procedures.
• Provide team members with job descriptions, curriculum, updates, and other relevant information.
• Ensure efficient communication and coordination within the team.

Training the Team

• Plan and facilitate capacity-building programmes and training sessions for team members.
• Organise training schedules and induction programmes for new team members immediately after joining.

Scheduling and Running the Programme

• Prepare and implement the Annual Action Plan.
• Follow up on schedules and updates, and monitor the progress and performance of the team.
• Manage and oversee the team’s time, personnel, and resources effectively.

Monitoring and Evaluation

• Maintain programme records, prepare reports, and manage programme-related data.
• Conduct feedback collection, review processes, and follow-up actions to improve programme effectiveness.

Financial Management

• Handle budget-related issues and ensure effective utilisation of allocated resources.
• Manage accounts and coordinate finance-related matters.
• Prepare and submit timely expense reports and supporting documentation.
