Job summary

Adani Enterprises Limited is seeking an experienced port and logistics trainer to conduct and develop training programs covering port operations, cargo handling, warehousing, and safety, with emphasis on compliance with IMO, ISPS Code, and ILO standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics or related fields and at least five years’ training experience in ports or shipping.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a trainer in ports, shipping, or logistics industries.
• Strong knowledge of port operations, equipment handling, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and instructional skills.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and simulation‑based training tools.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of training sessions on port operations, cargo handling, warehousing and logistics processes; ensure safety and compliance.
• Design and update training modules tailored to operational needs and regulations.
• Align training with IMO, ISPS Code, and ILO standards; support certification programs.
• Assess trainee performance via tests, simulations and practical evaluations; track completion and certification status.
• Collaborate with HR, operations managers, and external providers; coordinate with maritime academies for specialized programs.

• Provide hands‑on instruction for equipment operation (cranes, forklifts, reach stackers, etc.).

• Update training materials regularly to reflect changes in technology, regulations, and best practices.
• Ensure training aligns with international maritime regulations (IMO, ISPS Code, ILO).
