Job summary

Guidehouse India is seeking a Training Educator for Medical Coding to educate new coders and ongoing staff across India locations. You will develop training content, deliver sessions, and ensure adherence to client coding standards.

The role requires AHIMA/AAPC certification, 3-5 years of coding experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and flexibility to work shifts, including weekends. You will create documents on error trends and monitor 95% accuracy targets.

What You Will Do

• Provide education for any new coders.
• Provide training/education for any coders in PIP.
• Provide constant feedback and education to entire coders/QA's/Leads
• Specify , client, area of education, team details, quality scores.
• Perform random audit for coders in all the projects.
• Need to create training document based on major error trends.
• Stay abreast of industry changes and create training document based on changes.
• Assures coders achieve and maintain a minimum 95% accuracy in coding based on client contract.
• Assures coders maintain average productivity standards while maintaining quality.

What You Will Need

• Minimum Experience: 3-5-year coding experience
• Should be AHIMA/ AAPC Certified.
• Good analytic skills and expertise to be proficient in accurately coding medical records.
• Strong ability to interpret medical records of the patients in different specialties.
• Ability to communicate, have excellent interpersonal, listening skills and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in flexible shift including weekend.
