Job summary

NIIT Foundation is seeking a Center Operations lead to manage day-to-day center activities, resources, and training delivery in Mumbai. You will coordinate trainees, trainers, and counselors to ensure smooth operations and program adherence.

You will drive student enrollment through outreach and counseling, supervise staff, monitor progress and certifications, and collaborate with partners to achieve placement KPIs while maintaining MIS and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Center Operations & Administration: Oversee day-to-day running of the center, asset utilization, infrastructure, and training systems.
• Candidate Mobilization & Counseling: Lead grassroots outreach and counseling to enroll students into courses and onboard them successfully.
• Team Management: Supervise trainers, facilitators, and counselors; conduct performance reviews and motivate the team.
• Quality & Training Delivery: Ensure high-quality delivery of educational programs; monitor batch progress and certifications.
• Placements & Career Readiness: Prepare students for the job market and connect with hiring partners; hit KPIs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with community leaders, authorities, NGOs, vendors; manage center visibility and support.
• Reporting & Compliance: Maintain MIS data, generate reports, and ensure policy/audit compliance.

NIIT Foundation (NF) is a not-for-profit education society ( NGO ) set up by the promoters of NIIT in 2004. Its mission is to positively impact the underprivileged of the country through educational initiatives and skill development programs . NIIT Foundation, an Education NGO has a mandate to reach the unreached, uncared and unattended to ensure inclusive development of India.

Job Description

• Center Operations & Administration: Oversee the day-to-day running of the center, including asset utilization, maintaining infrastructure, and managing supplies like internet and training systems.
• Candidate Mobilization & Counseling: Lead grassroots outreach and marketing to mobilize students for enrollment. Execute counseling sessions to guide candidates into suitable courses and onboard them successfully.
• Team Management: Supervise and guide trainers, facilitators, and counselors. Conduct regular performance reviews and motivate the team to meet operational and training targets.
• Quality & Training Delivery: Ensure high-quality delivery of educational programs in alignment with project guidelines. Monitor batch progress, evaluate student assessments, and coordinate certifications.
• Placements & Career Readiness: Collaborate closely with the placement team to prepare students for the job market and connect them with hiring partners. Ensure the center hits its placement and career-readiness KPIs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with community leaders, local authorities, NGOs, and vendors to maintain center visibility and community support. Manage relationships with location owners and coordinate with higher management.
• Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate Management Information System (MIS) data, daily/monthly reports, and center records. Ensure the center fully adheres to organizational policies, project guidelines, and audit requirements.
